Real Crimes & Public Safety in Georgetown

Date and Time:
Wednesday, December 7, 2016 - 7:00pm
Georgetown Presbyterian Church - 3115 P Street NW

Come to CAG’s community meeting to learn the latest on crime and safety in Georgetown. Hear from Public Safety committee members, our MPD 2D Commander Melvin Gresham, and CAG Block Captains. Interim MPD Chief Newsham has been asked to speak.

We will present what our security cameras are doing, and what other camera options are available for private homes. We will also report on CAG's campaign to get Georgetown streets better lit. And residents will share their real-life experiences of crimes committed and/or thwarted.

Bring your questions and suggestions and neighbors to this important meeting on public safety in Georgetown. Reception begins at 7pm; program from 7:30–8:30pm.

Citizens Association of Georgetown is a non-profit civic organization representing the interests of Georgetown residents. CAG’s members, programs, and advocacy make Georgetown safer, more beautiful, and more connected.
